Alliston (Bob) W. Wade

Alliston (Bob) W. Wade, 72, of Pine Lake Park, Manchester Twp. passed away Thursday October 25, 2018 at home. Bob spent 35 years as a line foreman for Verizon, Freehold before retiring in 2005. Born in Montclair, he grew up in Glen Ridge and resided in East Orange before moving to Manchester Twp. in 1975. Bob served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1968. He was a member of the V.F.W. Toms River and past member of the Manchester Volunteer Fire Co. No. 1. He was a parishioner of St. John’s R.C. Church, Lakehurst and past usher at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Toms River. His family was the most important thing to him. Bob was predeceased by his wife Ellen M. Wade in 2016. Bob is survived by 2 sons, Brian and his wife, Cristin of Robbinsville, Colin and his wife, Annette of Waretown, his daughter Erin Wade and her fiancée, Michael Bolanos of Manchester Twp., 2 brothers, Leonard and George Wade and 6 grandchildren Lenora, Evie, Colton, Grace, Emily & Joy. Visitation 1-5pm Sunday October 28, 2018 at DeGraff Lakehurst Funeral Home, 119 Union Ave., Lakehurst. Interment 10:30am Friday November 2, 2018 at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
