Eric G. Winton, Jr.

Eric G. Winton, Jr., 72, of Whiting died peacefully surrounded by his loving family January 4, 2019 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Eric was a self-employed contractor. Born and raised in Toms River he moved to Whiting 15 years ago. Eric served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Eric was predeceased by his sisters Edna Winton in 1955 and Audrey Brauchler in 2018. Eric is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Jean, his son David Winton and his wife, Laura of Beachwood, his daughter Shawn Alexander of Beachwood, his brothers John Winton and his wife, Jane of Toms River, Richard Winton of Ocala, FA, 6 grandchildren Eric, Craig, Tyler, Aaron, Dashaun, Mya and 4 great-grandchildren Adlina, Eveayah, Kenliee & Xavier. The family will be receiving relatives and friends 11am-1pm Wednesday January 9, 2019 at DeGraff Lakehurst Funeral Home, 119 Union Ave., Lakehurst. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Toms River. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 7, E. Syracuse, NY 13057
